The Pacific Defence Faith Network is a unique initiative that is enhancing connections through faith-based engagement between Pacific militaries. It is based on a shared recognition of the centrality of faith across the Pacific region.
Launched in 2024, the PDFN delivers a vital capability to our Defence Forces through the provision of spiritual care and support to sailors, soldiers, aviators and their families. Military chaplains and faith leaders meet annually – in New Zealand (2024), Australia (2025) and Fiji (2026) – at the Defence Faith Forum, building trust and friendship to advance meaningful contributions to SPDMM initiatives.
