The Pacific Defence Faith Network is a unique initiative that is enhancing connections through faith-based engagement between Pacific militaries. It is based on a shared recognition of the centrality of faith across the Pacific region.
The network has generated an enduring network, built upon the many existing personal connections between multi-faith military chaplains and faith leaders. The Summit has been held twice – in New Zealand (2024) and in Australia (2025). The third Pacific Defence Faith Forum is due to take place in March 2026.
